The CDM  seminar will hosted by the DENR with support from international carbon market players including First Climate of Germany, Philippine Bio Sciences Company, the Land Bank of the Philippines and Norton Rose.  This is set on 28 August 2009 at Greenhills Elan Hotel Modern, 49 Annapolis Street Greenhills, San Juan City.

The seminar topics will cover the CDM implementation and market scenarios for the post-2012 period; investment assistance from banks; and legal considerations in negotiations.

The expected participants  will be coming from public and private entities in the industrial and agricultural sectors with interest or experience on CDM as well as from financial institutions, private investors, government agencies and NGOs.  The seminar's highlight is the interactive discussions by participants with experienced carbon market professionals that usually lead to further networking and project partnerships.
